About this deal

These were all released on CD and magnetic cassette, but with the 1993 and 1994 volumes also being released on the vinyl format. Released in association with the Official Chart Company to "celebrate 70 years of the official UK singles chart". The 4-CD series follows the same general format of the original Special Editions series, with genre, era, and decade collections, but over four compact discs (there is also an abridged vinyl version of Punk and New Wave and Rock), meaning they contain more tracks than the original special editions, but fewer than the Now 100 Hits, which preceded this series. Justin Timberlake - Holy Grail - I've heard that Jay Z now owns his won label now so i'm guessing he chose not to have this song on this album, which is a shame really, as it's not a bad song.

I. is featured in the song is the reason it didn't make it as he was missed off Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' on Now 85, however he has appeared on the series before, a double appearance on Now 72 featuring on Rihanna's 'Live Your Life' and Justin Timberlake's 'Dead and Gone'. But despite some shortcomings, this is a solid album, Disc 1 is the better of the 2 as usual but 2 isn't bad at all really, this album is as i said maybe not quite so good as Now 85 (but there's not an awful lot in it really) and definetly not as good as last November's brilliant Now 83, but is better than Now 84. fm, compilation album tracks appear under the name of Various Artists erroneously because the individual artist is not listed in the album's ID3 information. Also ported over from the latter was the single mix of Gwen Guthrie’s disco funk gem Ain’t Nothin’ Goin’ On But The Rent. These compilations are very similar to the anniversary series, however, they contain a lower amount of tracks and retailed much cheaper than the former series. The Monster, Holy Grail, Same Love, It's Time, Shot At The Night, and Strong are all brilliant songs to me, the High Contrast remix of Strong is one of my favourite dance songs of recent years tbh. A standard 4-CD version is also issued in a gatefold "wallet" design, which retails cheaper than the mini-hardback books. International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. The stunning visuals of the city of London at night with a full moon backdrop and glittering snowfall falling onto a lake of ice makes this one of the finest artworks in the series.

For some artists, this would be the only time they appeared in the series, and on this occasion that list includes Storm Queen, Arctic Monkeys, Klangkarussell, Ben Pearce, Ray Foxx, Showtek and Ylvis. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. The compilers had already laid down a marker with the release of the single disc Hits 5 and it was common knowledge that the imminent Now 8 would also have a CD version. From 2003, and until 2010, there was one special edition released each year, covering a decade (80s, 90s and 00s), or a cross section of big hits celebrating the Now series ( Now Decades, Now Years, Now Dance) - however, from 2011, they became much more frequent, and in 2017, there were fifteen different titles released.

A triple-CD only release, Yearbook Extra: The Collectors Edition, is issued a few weeks later; these include lesser known tracks and more songs by big artists included on the main album and they are released only in standard gatefold wallet packaging. Another strand of the Now Yearbook series, in August 2022, is the somewhat experimental release of a limited edition, extended play, 7" vinyl single, containing 2 tracks each from the 1983 and 1984 Yearbooks. Due to licensing issues, these re-compiled versions often use alternative mixes such as album versions. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.

on 24 July 2015, the release dates in the UK and Ireland have been the same following the announcement of the Global Release Day campaign by IFPI, which became effective on 10 July 2015. Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball - We all know for a fact this song was missed off and will be saved for Now 87 as her previous single 'We Can't Stop' is featured instead. The video is apparently also set in 1985, although I have to say I never noticed that when watching it at the time! The frequency in which they were released also varied from year to year; initially, and most frequently across the series, there would be one Now Dance volume per year, but in 1994 for example, there were four volumes released, and in 1996, there weren't any Now Dance compilations released. otherwise known as Now 86 completed the trio of volumes from the year 2013, capturing music from the late summer and Autumn.
